About Me

I was born in Hong Kong but raised in Walnut, California. No, not Walnut Creek. It’s okay if you don’t know where that is because most people don’t unless I tell them it’s next to Diamond Bar. Yes, I speak Cantonese and yes, everything is better in Hong Kong. I plan on study aboard my third year in college in Hong Kong as well to make up for lost time spent in America.

They call me Mango. True story! I was a premature baby. Long story, short: My mother ate a mango one night and next thing you knew, I popped out of her womb. Crazy right? But that’s legit.

My blog keeps me sane. Sometimes I think that blogging is the only thing that makes sense to me. Even though I am only eighteen nineteen and life isn’t supposed to be complicated, it is. Road signs may just be the only things in my life that can give me any kind of guidance. I own more blogs than a normal person. I don’t even know why I own so many private blogs but if you love food go to Feed Me Mango.

I am a proud Anteater. I will be attend University of California, Irvine. I am a Psychology & Social Behavior major, thinking about double majoring with Criminology, Law and society minoring in Biology. Med school? Stick around and you’ll see my journey reveal itself. Btw, Financial Aid is my lover.

Beside from being a student, I am also a full time shopaholic and part time workaholic. I’m always on a job hunt. Working gives me a sense of control and power. Plus, who can argue with biweekly paycheck? With all this extra pocket cash, I have become a money managing disaster as well. Nice right? It almost sounds worthy enough to put on my resume for my next job.

I’m quite a random person. I would love to have a chat with anyone about anything and everything  over coffee during the cold nights. I fail at playing piano, speaking French and skateboarding. Late night that turns into early mornings talks are the best. Pho and tacos make the world go round. I can never fall asleep on someone on the phone, never. I like giant teddy bears named Spencer. I like to look up at the sky and see planes fly by. Sunrises are nice too. They seem to take my troubles away.
