So here’s the deal, I like reading. I know it seems like such a surprise since most eighteen year olds rather go smoke weed than read but it’s not. I like writing and I like reading.
I started to my 50 book challenge on June 08, 2008. I have a whole year to finish reading 50 books. I decided that reading 50 books is a realistic goal however, the more I think about, the more I think that I should do the reading page challenge instead. It’s the 15,000 pages challenge. I mean, what if I wanted to read this really good book but because I read it, I couldn’t finish 50 books because it’s over 1000 pages? Well, that’s is why I decided on June 28, 2008 to join the 15000 page challenge as well.
3 / 50 books. 6% done!
742 / 15000 pages. 4.94% done!

Could I suggest a book? I liked Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller or the classic Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I like you challenge. I may have to do the same; I love reading as well :).
Fahrenheit 451 was a great book. I was required to read that in class as a sophomore. It was beautiful.
Yes, i was required to read it as well for my sophomore class as well. It made more sense the second time around.
have you tried The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath yet? it appeals to the paranoid neurotic in all of us.
The shopaholic series are great yea? =P
hmm shopaholic book.. great book..
Anatomy of a Boyfriend by Daria Snadowsky sounds like an interesting book. Hehe… what i want to read right now is the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. I just don’t have the funds to buy such an an expensive collection… Huhu…
good luck on the challenge! :)
Good luck on the challenge, though you seem pretty far behind.
However, if you do like to read, drop the chick flicks and move to something that really educates your mind. Sure, chick flicks are okay and entertaining, but don’t focus your challenge only on that.
Try some Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen and Charles Dickens for a start, and if you like what you read, come to me for more ;)
Good luck on your book challenge!
I recommend this book:
Success Principles by Jack Canfield
Thanks for sharing your list!
